Slow Start. Decent Introductory Book

This is the second book I’ve read in the Stronghold series and it was okay. The good bits that really captured my attention didn’t begin until after seventy percent had been read. That’s a major bummer from an erotic story with BDSM as a stronghold. Submission is the aspect for this tale of Adam & Angel. Once this couple does get out of their own way, the heat is intense and scenes are steamy.

I realize this is the first book in the series and introduces characters & couples featured in other books, but it didn’t make me want to download the entire series right away. This was a freebie.
