Cozy fantasy with a hint of romance.
Leo hates Sebastian. Sebastian hates Leo. Everyone knows this. Even their magic college knows this, which is why they go out of their way to keep them apart.
Then, of course, something goes wrong. Now one of them is magically bound to obey the other. Oh, and he might also want to kiss him a little—but we’re ignoring that.
This is an adorable story with minimal world-building but strong character development. There’s a plot, but it’s cozy, too. I loved the slow burn from enemies to friends, the magic system, and Leo—there’s just something about an irritating, irresponsible boy that makes things fun.
I just wish we’d seen more of the enemies part. I wanted the pranks, the rivalry, the chaotic part before the mishap.
