The Dragon's Bride by Katee Robert

4.0

“No one else will do. It’s you and no other.”

So I mean mostly all I can say is this felt like my first honest monster romance. I mean a human and a dragon... granted with some human features... but still a dragon! Like of course that was already fascinating for a variety of reason's but I mean 2 🍆 really sealed the deal on the whole welcome to monster romance thing. I really enjoyed this one. It had a fully fleshed out story with the benefit of spice... It really did have a lot of the Beauty and the Beast vibes going... even down to the amazing library. Briar has made a deal with Azazel for a really good reason I must admit and the seven years seems worth it to her. I loved the dynamic between Sol and Briar. I loved how sweet the relationship between them was... it started out really awkward and slowly developed and it was cute to watch unfold. I think one of my favorite things about this is just how completely opposite the characters tend to be in what they want, but how they mesh well together.
