The Stone Gods by Jeanette Winterson

Reread this to make a bunch of notes for essays and my bachelor paper.
Still as wonderful, if not more so <3

I finished this late at night because I'd been dying to get to the end for way too long.
The Stone Gods is a novel in 4 parts, jumping perspectives and time frames. The main story is that humans have exploited the earth to such a degree that it's not possible for them to live there anymore. Luckily, they've found a new planet, which they expect to inhabit soon, after a period of research has asserted that it is a safe environment for human beings.
The novel includes space ships, a Robo Sapiens, outcasts of society, an all-powerful organization ruling it all and, woven into all of that, an LGBTQ+ love story.
I'm going to be analyzing the representation of post-apocalypse in this novel for my bachelor paper in English Literature, so I am happy, excited and anxious to pick this book apart! hehe
