I enjoyed this but not as much as the first volume. The plot was fast-paced but it was also a bit compact with a lot happening (current events, flashbacks, action sequences, dialogue, moving locations) at once and so it was a bit difficult to follow sometimes and I frequently had to go back and reread a few pages because I’d get confused. So I definitely recommend taking your time with it even if it can be a fast read. And I do wish we got more characterization; we barely get to see the sailor scouts interact with each other outside of battle and it’d be nice to get to know them more. But overall quick and fun read.
