The Year of the Witching by Alexis Henderson
5.0
Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned. This book is beautiful, dark and utterly enthralling. Once I picked it up, I couldn’t put it down. I felt the wrath, anger, hatred, sadness, and pain of the characters throughout this book. Not only is this book brutal and creepy, but it pulls on your heartstrings just a little bit. It is a powerful story of feminism and oppression and religion and all the things that go bump in the night. It is definitely a book worth reading if you’re looking for a good gothic horror.
