An exciting read with fun characters and exceptional voice acting in the audiobook. Shadow, the main character, goes through a cycle of extended grief throughout the book and tends to continue through it with little change. He weathers the storm of events around him with a sort of numb acceptance. The other characters around him tend to speak more depth into him as a character, but I didn't see much development on his part. 

Definitely worth a listen!
