I love short stories. I'm a starter finisher so I love being able to finish a story in one sitting, this is often difficult as I am a fairly slow reader. With short stories I can read a full story and it's such a sense of satisfaction.

Victoria Hislop is a fabulous writer and having the skill to get her brilliant story telling skills in so few words and still feel like the storyline has been fulfilled it's a real skill.

The contents of each story is so interesting and so enjoyable. She discusses difficult subjects through her characters and it's brilliantly done.
