Loveeeee this one! Possibly my second favorite in the series behind Unrivaled. I actually loved it more the second time around, though I’d forgotten most of it already lol. The dynamics between the two MCs are so good. I love how much of a flirt Liam is, especially before they get together. And Russ is so sweet and adores Liam so much! Baller is great, I love how he shows up in an every book and spreads around queer wisdom like rainbow glitter.
Top tier banter, a non-creepy age gap, and good emotional depth to the relationship. The spice is excellent too. A very fun book. This whole series is great because it’s packed with queer joy and this book has zero homophobia in it, just a rookie and his hockey mentor flirting and falling in love!
