I loved this book! I am a huge fan of the author and his other works and was delighted to find this in our local library. I read this aloud to my son at bedtime, and we were both enthralled by both the story and the artwork that fills the pages of this book.

This beautiful children's book tells the story of not only the Man in the Moon, or MiM, but also of how the earth got its moon and why the moon is bright at night. I'm incredibly impressed with the richness and depth of the story created in such a short time frame. The characters are well written, the emotion is intense, and you are left with the feeling that you just experienced something wonderful.

I would love to find the rest of the series to read with my son.
