I enjoyed it, had no complaints about it, but wasn’t blown away by it either. It was good, and I liked the characters. I liked the women were not damsels in distress and that the lead detective wasn’t someone with demons chasing her either, which seems to be so common in procedurals and mysteries. I also liked the relationship between the victim and her husband, and I liked that she didn’t shy away from talking about therapy. I’d definitely read something else by this author.
