A short read, but nonetheless very fun. Once again Brando crafts a unique world/magic system and this time he does it while playing with a genre he’s never explored before. The wider Cosmere connections are surprising, but not jarring. Truly feels like everything is coming together and he’s become more confident weaving the various threads together. As a bonus, I think a lot of the book has great prose from him. You can tell that he was experimenting and having a blast.

Also? The art is gorgeous.
