After about 30% I just could not get into this novella. Too much time hopping to keep track of what was going on for me. I also kept feeling like I missed the first book due to the overwhelming amount of vaguely described tools, structures, and history. I felt like the reader was leaned on too much to understand all these terms when hardly no explanation as to what they were and why they were important were given.
