wayyy too hard on the spice & not nearly enough cozy small town vibes. i was really hoping we would get a more pumpkin spice cafe 2.0 type situation: a spicy small town romance, filled with cozy vibes and characters where we actually spend some time in these cozy settings but this however felt like only a spicy book to me 😭 i considered dnf’ing multiple times which i normally NEVER do. didn’t connect with the characters either - unfortunately this book was a huge miss.
