This book is a slow, gentle journey through the lives of a bookstore owner in South Korea and the people she attracts into her life. There is no big drama, just an exploration of what it means to be true to yourself and to create work that makes you “wake up with anticipation and go to sleep with satisfaction.”  Along the way, the author shares thoughts on contemporary books being read in Korea.  Loved the author’s note!
