I know you have to generally suspend disbelief for James Rollins books, but this one took a little more than others. The shifting character perspectives became cumbersome at times. But, in general, this hit all the cliches (ex-military hero, over the top action scenes, unrealistic romances, questionable science, and semi-believable monsters) and was super enjoyable.
