God of Malice by Rina Kent

The way the first two chapters started I knew this entire book would be a wild ride! And was it…? YAY! I think Glyndon and Killian are perfect for each other because I really don’t know who else would be able to put up with them besides them already. In all honesty though I don’t think Glyndon had any character development – her character stayed the same to me the whole time with no obvious differences to how she acted. Killian was likable to me 15% of the time while the rest of the time I was baffled at everything he was able to accomplish throughout the book. The pacing of this wasn’t my favorite, I felt like certain things were rushed like when Killian brought Glyndon over to meet his parents.
I loved meeting all the background characters, especially Nikolai! I can’t wait to read his book because he’s truly a comic relief character and I adore him so much. All the other side characters throughout this were amazing, I don’t think I dislike any of them and I am so glad they all get their own books, EXCEPT MY FAV REMI!!! Still heartbroken over this information but okay. There were times where I was super uncomfy with how Killian was talking to Glyndon and there were also times when I just let the audiobook play in my ear rather than follow along with my physical copy because I was so over both main characters. In turn this is not my favorite dark romance book but it surely won’t be my last one.
P.S. The “plot twist” near the end of the book had me so baffled that I had to keep pulling my mouth up from its spot on the floor!
“You can break my legs and arms, but I can still crawl toward her.”

“He looks at her the way you look at me.”“And how do I look at you?” “Like you’ll destroy the world as long as I remain safe.”
