Eve of Man by Giovanna Fletcher, Tom Fletcher
4.0
I'm struggling to review this book. I did enjoy it, it felt like the old-school YA dystopian books I used to adore. The synopsis was super interesting, only female born for 50 years, duty to save the population, ethical dilemma and power crazy evil organisation controlling everything. Eve felt very young, and she was quite immature with some of her actions, but that's to be expected for a 16 year old girl who hasn't ever experienced the world before. I wasn't completely sold on the romance, but it was cute and I hope it develops more next book. Overall a strong start to the series and I would recommend it! It wasn't a literary masterpiece and I can't call it a favourite, but I definitely had fun reading it and I want to read the next book for sure.
