This book follows a woman on vacation with her family in Sandwich MA. We’re experiencing everything through her eyes. This is a vacation they’ve taken each year as a family, and now her children are 20 and 24- both grown and mostly out of the house. We follow her grappling with: early menopause and her complicated feelings with her body, aging parents, and how to parent her adult children. It’s a peek into a week with a family, and everything they’re bringing to the table at that moment-with some insights from the past. There’s not a ton of action or excitement , but I couldn’t put it down.
