This book is a weird mix of Native American legends, a Western cowboy-style adventure, a time-traveling fantasy, and a found family story featuring ex-criminal teens.

I don't really know how else to describe it.

Recommended for mature middle graders (due to some CREEPY magic, esp. in the later books, as well as violence) and everyone older.
