Neheyuu & Mian: Another wonderful book in the Xiveri Mates series! 5 Stars
I had originally planned to skip over this book, as I saw it diverted from the initial plot of the previous books, VORAXIA and NOBU. But, SASOR was a wonderful in between to the series.
SASOR, introduces us to Mian, a human slave to various alien and human owners. Upon a raid of her territory, she encounters Neheyuu, a Snakeshifter who takes Miaa in exchange for sparing her village. He feels an instant attraction to her and of course, she is indeed his xiveri mate. Which is great, if only he knew what this was!
I loved this story because Mian was such a sweet likeable character and in spite of being a slave, she had a sense of worth. She didn't buckle to Neheyuu and as much as he fought his feelings for her, he fought even more for her.
This was an excellent book, and I can't wait to read the other books in the series!
Happy reading!
