The Girls I've Been by Tess Sharpe

5.0

This book was absolutely mind-blowing. Easy to read and it grabed my attention right away.

The girls i've been is a story about Nora/Rebecca/Samantha/ Haley/Katie/Ashley or ???? . Nora, was the second daughter of this con woman. The mother thought her daughter how to con, she gave her daughter roles to play whenever she was in a con. Different girls all the time.
Nora is experiencing abuse, both from the mother but also from the mother's parteners ( the dudes who get con)... she is spending her childhood not knowing who she is and by age of 12, her childhood is gone...

Most of the book happens in 204 minutes while she is witnessing a bank robbery together with her ex-boyfreind and friend Wes and girlfriend Iris.

Between this captivity moments, we get to see the abuse she was been through and what she had done to survive.
