god, i would like to introduce the author to a three act structure.
this book has potential especially in the first 10% or so, but then the rest falls into the same 3 misunderstandings happening ad nausem with slightly different set dressing.
There were so many times when I, silly as I am, thought that they were going to have a conversion and dissolve their problems and grow into a deeper, more interesting relationship. as is, this is just exhausting.
Honestly, it got so boring that i started wishing that some of their terrible assumptions about one another were true, just to make it more interesting.
