Taylor is continuing to live a very boring life after his ex left him 4 years ago, works for a company but hates his job and has no idea what they do or even what synergy means (I mean really wtf does it mean?). After a (hilarious) existential crisis he accidentally finds himself in front of Holt mistakenly as his ‘flavor of the week’ (sad office worker forced to attend a colleague’s birthday party) stripper. (This is also the middle of the greatest chapter I’ve ever read in my entire life I think.) What starts off as a VERY unconventional meeting ends up being the greatest thing to happen to Taylor in a long time.

I loved this book so much! There were so many times I would just start laughing out loud and my family thought I was crazy. I tried to explain chapter 4 and 5 to my husband but it is hard to capture the true depth of hilarity without first reading chapters 1-3 (and then also reading 4-5 yourself!).

I love all the supporting characters in this story. They are all so diverse and funny and I can’t wait to see more of them all. Also I would love to play Moth Simulator and fly a gigantic moth to the moon, that would be so freaking cool. I don’t know where Lily comes up with all these ideas for her stories but I know when I read one it’s gonna be an amazing ride!

Also, if I ever get the chance to quit a job I hate, I really hope I go out in style like Taylor. I was DYING!

I am so excited for this series, I cannot wait for the next one to come out!! Well, obviously I have to but it’s gonna be really hard!
