The Front Runner by Elsie Silver

3.5

“There’s an academic side to Mira. She’s a bit nerdy. But in the best possible way. There’s something about a woman who wields her brain like a weapon and her tongue like a whip that makes me want to worship at her feet.” ~ Stefan Dalca

I find myself liking Billie less with each book. She mostly come off as a bitch. I loved Stefan’s character; he had many different layers that made him feel real. Mira, on the other hand, felt one-dimensional, repeating the same thoughts throughout the story. She kept contradicting herself about Stefan, which I found frustrating. I guessed the storyline with Hank, but loved it none the less. I also noticed that the writing has improved since the first two books in this series. This book is definitely my favorite in the series, but I still see flaws with the main couple.
