Uhhg I love a grumpy x sunshine romance and let me tell you, Wells was G-R-U-M-P-Y. He had an ’I hate everyone but her’ attitude which I love but how protective he was of Josephine and how hard he falls for her had my heart melting. Their love story just had me giggling and kicking my feet in the air during the entire book. 

 

I adored Josephine’s character, her resilience and perseverance throughout the entire book is everything, as is her sense of humour. I love a book with good banter and between Wells and Josephine I was laughing all the time. 

 

His mouth was dirty, the spice was SPICY and the shower scene was *chefs kiss*. My love for Tessa Bailey is no secret and for good reason, I just ABSOLUTELY LOVE all of her books that I have read so far!
