Farrah Rochon is a no-questions-asked, must-read author for me! She is well skilled at balancing steamy romance with strong sense of self and friendships. The Hookup Plan is out August 2, 2022.

The Hookup Plan centers on Dr. London Kelley, a pediatric surgeon wünderkind at a financially-strapped county hospital. She happens to *ahem* reconnect with former classmate Drew Sullivan at (and after 😈) a class reunion, only to see Drew in her hospital’s conference room come Monday. Turns out, Drew is working to audit London’s hospital to help save it from the financial brink.

Rivals-to-lovers is close enough to enemies-to-lovers, and if there’s one rom com trope I never tire of… But this book also gave: badass, ambitious, don’t-distract-me-from-my-goals London; sweet and intelligent Drew; and, of course, grounding, hilarious, caring Samiah and Taylor. I LOVED that Drew never questioned London on her goals or aspirations. He knew from jump he needed to respect her process. London didn’t need Drew, but damn he worked to ensure she wanted him by her side!

I’m excited to read whatever else Farrah Rochon puts out next!
