I cannot recommend this book enough if you're a fan of the movie trilogy. Not only that but this fills in so many gaps from the film. If you had questions after your first viewing, this is for you. There is a twist to the ending. It's different from the film and subtle enough to leave you asking questions.

SpoilerThere are more scenes with Michael than there were in the film. You're shown the path he took after the events of Kills and exactly how he ended up living in the sewer. It's gruesome but sorely needed, especially since one of the biggest complaints the film received was how weak Michael was in the film. This book answers those questions in explicit detail. His relationship with Corey is explored as well, fully detailing the supernatural elements at play but never quite explained, lending more mystery back to the characters. Was Michael always this way or is there something inherently wrong with Haddonfield and its residents?
