4.5- I LOVED this!

It was so inspiring, encouraging, and just a feel-good book that made me smile. Ethan is 100% relatable and I love his friendship with Sophie. This is a beautiful story about God using what we think are limitations for something grander than we could ever imagine.

The only reason I'm giving it 4.5 stars instead of 5 is because Ethan's mom was constantly calling him "baby". I don't know if this was intentional as part of her personality, but it was so frequent that it came off as feeling condescending or pitying. Please understand, his mom was so sweet and supportive. It was clear that she was rooting for him from the start. But it just grated on my nerves every time she did that.

Highly recommend to MG readers of Christian fiction! A must-read for artists and art enthusiasts!
