Good God this book was amazing. Space Operas and Scfi books in general are definitely my thing. I am so happy to have unlocked a new genre that I enjoy so much. From start to finish this book was great – my favorite thing about this book was having two major POVs between Miller and Holden. These POVs were so impactful because they made up the majority of the plot.
Once Miller and Holden found their way to each other it felt like the first season of stranger things. Heck this whole book was as if Stranger Things had a baby with a space book. BRAVO! BRAVO! I love action in books when it is written well and the action in this was written to a perfect amount. Don’t get me wrong I did indeed have to look up different parts of spaceships to understand all the action but eh I still had fun.
“He was a detective. It was what he did.”

“The beautiful thing about losing your illusions, he thought, was that you got to stop pretending.”

“No rest for the wicked, Julie Mao said in his mind. No peace for the good.”
