I read Nick and Joey’s story initially from the Worthy anthology. So I was excited to see them in a full length book!

Joey, with his exorbitant responsibilities, has what I believe is anxiety and causes issues in his sex life. No one has ever taken the time to figure out how to bring him pleasure and even he doesn’t really know what he wants. Once he and Nick really get going with their ‘situationship’ it’s pretty clear he needs to be told what to do and given directions. I did like this dynamic for them.

I am sad to say that this book and I just didn’t jive. I don’t particularly like daddy kink but it’s not overdone and didn’t factor into my decision. I definitely don’t like ‘baby talk’ during sex, it’s ick to me, but again I was able to look past these things.

The back and forth between Nick and Joey (really on Joey’s end) is what got me and frustrated me enough to give this 3 stars.

I received an advanced copy from IAC in exchange for my honest review.
