Rage and Ruin by Jennifer L. Armentrout

Rage and Ruin is the second book in The Harbinger series. It starts right after the ending of Storm and Fury and continues from there on with Trinity and Zayne in New York, trying to find the answers they’re looking for.

Storm and Fury review

The character that actually stole my heart this book was Roth, I liked him so much and kinda wanted more of him hihi. I should really read the first series though. Zayne and Trinity are really badass, but their romance, I wasn’t feeling it as much as in the first book. I also did enjoy the first book more overall. At the same time, this book was just as addictive! I couldn’t put it down and the characters continued to conquer my heart and win me over.

The storyline did get better and better in this book! Trinity and Zayne did become closer after Zayne becoming her guardian. With it suddenly being a forbidden love, it added something to their romance, but I liked it more when it wasn’t forbidden and they were slowly building their relationship.

The ending was the worst of all! How can you end a story like that! I was soooo glad I didn’t read this book when it came out, but instead when book three was already out. I would not have survived that cliffhanger and the wait!

Overall, this book was just entertaining, ridiculous and clever all at once! I can’t wait to start book three!
