If this book suffers from one thing it's how it's marketed. This is NOT a time travel romance. This is NOT a historical romance. Guys, there's no HEA - it's not even a romance.

But I think if you can get past what the publishers want the book to be, and take a deep look at what the book actually is, you'll fall just as in love with it as I did. Maybe it's because the subject of depressive episodes speak to me, but something about the book struck me from the get go. That feeling of walking through the world but never truly participating in it. I've lost count of how many days have been spent just going through the motions. And that's what this book is really trying to get at. Because at it's heart, it's really a self-romance.

I still won't say there's an HEA, though.
