Hidden Riches by Nora Roberts

4.0

More interesting and balanced story compared to the previous NR books I started and DNFed. I enjoyed the main and side characters, plus the crime thriller aspect of this. I also liked that the relationship between the MCs was developed more properly, aka they didn’t jump into bed right away. In some NR books, when the characters have sex early, you can expect that the rest of the book will be about them repeatedly having sex, and that really just messes up the flow of the story.

The ending was a bit abrupt though. That was my biggest qualm. I considered giving this a 3.75 but taken as a whole, I think this deserves a 4.

Sandra Burr is an excellent narrator.
