The Third Baseman by Lulu Moore
5.0
Here are the words I would use to describe this book:
amazing
show-stopping
glorious
addicting
marvelous
stunning
outstanding
spectacular
I could honestly keep going because this book was everything I hoped it would be and more. Jupiter and Marnie were the couple I have been hoping to read about, their second chance was just amazing to read and I loved every second of it.
Jupiter was hot, funny and so so swoon worthy that I found myself giggling like a school girl with a crush. Marnie was one of my favorite fmcs for a number of reasons but her overall persona was just so fun to read. I loved their connection and their banter. They were without a doubt soulmates.
The tattoos got me. The grand gesture at the end got me. The pining got me. Truly everything about this book was perfect to me, zero criticisms are allowed. The reason for their breakup was all teenager of them however it made sense, I was not annoyed like I sometimes can find myself with second chance romances.
Very excited for this series to continue, I thought the world building in this was done very well without feeling like the romance fell second. Excited to go and read Lulu Moore's backlog now because her writing is some of the best I have read. Also I found the smut hot as hell and was lowkey blushing lmao. Could not recommend this book enough, my favorite baseball romance for sure.
