There is a lot to unpack in this YA thriller where the truth is hidden behind a wall of authority and high school politics. I really enjoyed the character of Hadley, she’s a strong female character that digs deeper than what is seen at face value. I felt the author, Kara Thomas, transported me back to high school and the politics of what it means to be in the crowd. It reads authentically and I think all YA readers will really connect with it.
