Love You Forever by Robert Munsch
1.0
Ah, one of the most polarizing children's books. You either find this a heart-warming tale of enduring parental devotion or a deeply creepy story of a parent failing to allow a child to grow. And I'm firmly in the latter camp.
My child will always be my baby but I don't need to climb through her window when she's left home and rock her when she's asleep (!) even metaphorically to hold onto that sentiment.
I'll be glad when it's time for this one to go back to the library.
