Man, this book. The art is absolutely stunning, no question. It's probably worth getting just for that. However, I could not get past the absolutely massive number of rape scenes. Aditionally, I felt like he was bringing up every Orientalist trope ever, then kind of not dealing with it. I felt based on his interviews that he meant it to be some kind of meta commentary on Orientalism, but it didn't work for me on that level.
