This was my first of T. Kingfisher's books, and after all the raving reviews I can't say I'm disappointed. This was such a fun and spooky read. I found myself with goosebumps and actual terror while reading this. There's so much horrifying imagery, and this book is proof that you can be absolutely horrified without overdoing the blood, guts, and gore (not that I've got a problem with that
