I enjoyed most of the book. The beginning and the ending had the exciting parts to the story. The middle seemed to drag a bit, but overall it was good. This was heavy on the suspense and low on the romance.

Hero is a Texas man that still has that wild Texas boy in him, always ready for adventure. Heroine is more serious and pretty badass considering she’s a professional assassin. The ending surprised me. That more than anything made me like this book. I like being caught off guard like that...in a good way.
