What this volume gives you: A curse bearing vampire also known as ‘The beast of Gévaudan’, a very crazy train, funny and romantic scenes, bit of backstory from a new character named Astolfo, forest and village setting, Jeanne's and Chloé's relationship and of course Chloé herself as a new character

The train was the highlight for this book
Really didn't expect that to turn out like THIS

Astolfo is so evil like he kills unnecessary people instead of just focusing on his task
Even though Astolfo was evil we get a small backstory of him and I wouldn't say I like him now more, but I like how the author sticked to the 'no villain is born, they are made' technique (I also think that's more realistic anyway)

Don't know the name of that man, but he literally just stole something from our main character, like excuse you?!
And will we get it back in the next volume??

Jeanne and Vanitas are this one couple that says they aren't in love but literally everyone can see they are, it's just so obvious. I mean they went on a date in the previous volume, so that's sealed for me now.
Also for everyone that are fans of them; They get some cute scenes in this volume too!

Disliked how back and forth this volume was. While we were already at the forest fighting the beast some other character just joined? Without explanation or anything? There were so few to so many characters in such a short period of time and they just joined like it was nothing. They just popped up. And the water in not mouth and then kissing instead of just giving the water bottle was so cringe.

In general there was almost no room of explanation and while I liked the fast-pacing I would have preferred if the volume would have had more chapters to clarify a few things before ending off.
