This is a spinoff of In Case You Forgot which follows Elijah (Zaire’s boyfriend) and his uncle, Justin (who’s fresh out of a lavender marriage). The busyness referred to in the book title includes: love life conflicts, professional changes, and major current events. Compared to the previous book, this kind of felt like a book about nothing but at least has a definitive HEA. I liked the representation of healthy romantic and familial relationships but was hoping for more drama.
Minor: Drug use, Infidelity, Racial slurs, and Pandemic/Epidemic
