They Never Learn by Layne Fargo
5.0
I thoroughly enjoyed this story. You really just don’t get many main characters who are serial killers, or especially a female serial killer. Very interesting and entertaining.
This almost reminds me of Foul is Fair, but while I did not like that one at all, this one I dug. Maybe it’s just the difference between an adult novel and a ya never but this worked better as a more mature story, I think.
I definitely recommend! There are quite a few triggers though so be careful. The ones I can remember off the top of my head are sexual assault, light homophobia, murdering (pretty graphic in a couple cases), emotional abuse, spousal physical abuse.
