« Oblomov » is written in such a wonderful style that you almost feel physically the change of scenery when the story swings between Oblomov and Stolz, you almost smell the air in the Agafia Pshenitsina’s kitchen and taste of her dishes, you almost fall in love in the same manner as each of the characters does, you walk in the shoes of each of them despite the contrast of their visions and desires.
Strong women, men in love, comedy, love of life, dullness, idleness, ideals, friendship, worship. This classic has it all.
