Challenger Deep by Neal Shusterman

5.0

Gorgeously, realistically written: the path of one teenage boy as he tries to survive his own mind.

I remember hesitating to put it on my to-read list, and hesitating yet again when I chose it at random on my Nook: "Oh, dear, this is the one about the teenager with mental illness, isn't it?" but this book deserves to be read both by teenagers as well as adults. Read it for the sheer pleasure of watching the two narratives slowly blend together.
