It's been a long time since a book has made me want to cry, weep even. There was/still is so much hype around this book and every ounce of it is worth it. Absolutely loved it. Delia Owens's storytelling was beautiful, the prose almost poetic. Kya is a fierce young woman shunned by prejudice, and surviving in indescribable odds.
