AMAZING!!! I loved everything about this even though I was on the edge of my seat throughout this entire book! This is the continuation of both of the clans fighting for the control of jade while more people are wanting access to this precious substance. We watch as people fight to the death, enemies double cross each other and families fall apart. This book literally left me on the edge of my sit because the entire time I was waiting for something to happen and when it did, Fonda Lee took it there. I enjoyed following these characters and at first I thought the time jumps would bother me, but as the story went on I grew to appreciate it because I felt like I got the chance to grow with the characters and see the world evolve. I liked learning about this world and about jade and how it's used and how in this book they expanded it's use to different markets. I liked how we got to see different sides of the clans and at certain points we see everything doesn't have to just be about death....If you couldn't tell I really liked this series!!!
