North of Need by Laura Kaye

4.0

North of Need follows Megan Snow on her Christmas vacation, the second Christmas without her husband. She spends Christmas alone but later that night a sexy, naked man appears on her front porch. Owen Winters was sent by the God's on behalf of her husband to try and help her find happiness after the tragic loss of her husband two years prior.
This book is what I expected it to be, though super cheesy, which I again pretty much expected. It was good and entertaining. The tension was built on whether she would choose to love him forever or let him go. Honestly the characters were pretty well-written and it was fun losing myself in this story. Their dilemmas were interesting, the sex scenes were written decently. Not bad. The cheesy-ness ruined se parts because I just couldn't help laughing but overall it was really good. The ending was really well-done and left it open for the sequels while still giving closure for these characters, which I really liked. Great book, I enjoyed it. Definitely something I would read again and recommend for anyone wanting a faster, more playful, and easy read!
