From The Edge Omnibus: Books 1-3 by Eve Riley
4.0
First of all, I want to say that the only reason I am not giving it 5 stars, is because of the lack of TW within this format (I mean, the omnibus. I do read warnings in Amazon page for each story) Perhaps the author does not need to specify its content, but to warn that there will be certain sensitive issues within the stories. I, for example, am a person who, knowing that there will be a trigger, I have no problem reading them. But I went in blind and ran into a couple of really tough situations (like beating and abuse) and for some people reading something like that off guard can be harmful.
That being said, all three stories are about young adults with different background histories who have gone through difficult situations such as homophobic parents, living on the streets, abandonment etc, they begin to discover what they want to do with their lives, while meeting the person they are meant to be.
They are well written, they are entertaining, and although they may be somewhat short and everything happens too "fast" they are still interesting.
It would also be good to clarify that they are interconnected with each other and with other series, and reading everything would be even more interesting.
I was given an advanced copy and voluntarily wrote a review.
