i LOVE THIS BOOK SO MUCH!!! definitely going on the list of top favourite contemporary romance books. the buildup of jasmine and ivan's relationship is PERFECT. utterly, perfect. the slowburn of it all, the insults they throw at each other that slowly shift into lovingly making fun of each other, the way they know each other SO WELL inside and out. they are both so perfectly each other's person and you feel that so much throughout the book. mariana zapata knows how to write enemies to lovers i am telling you; go read this book RN. ivan lukov is the most perfect man ever i would risk my life for him, and jasmine too, i love her. she is such a badass, and even though she has a reputation in the figure skating world for being rude and mean or whatever, she really is just a confident person who stands up for herself and doesn't take shit from anyone, and i really admire that. also side note, (they touched on this in the book), if jasmine was a man she totally would have just been seen as "cool" and "assertive" and "a hero", but since she's a woman people call her names and say she "has an attitude" and she's "bossy". double mf standards!! anyway. this book is amazing and i'm so so glad i read it!!
